Are you analytically minded, technically curious and always looking for the smartest and most cost-effective solution? Then you might be the Value Analysis and Costing Manager we are looking for.
We are an international family-owned company specialising in labels for the packaging industry. Thanks to our wide range of printing and finishing technologies, we can identify the best combination of quality, efficiency and cost for every customer and project.
Your roleAs Value Analysis and Costing Manager, you will play a key role at the intersection of Sales, Customer Service and Production.
You will translate customer requirements and technical specifications into accurate cost calculations, while looking beyond the numbers. You will identify opportunities to create additional value, whether through alternative materials, more efficient production methods, different printing technologies or smart process optimisations.
In other words, you will not only focus on cost, but also on margins, efficiency and commercial added value.
You will also lead and coordinate our team of costing specialists across our different countries and sites, helping us create a consistent and professional approach to costing and value analysis across the group.
What will you do?
• Prepare and analyse cost calculations.
• Lead and coordinate a team of costing specialists across our different countries and sites.
• Develop and compare different production scenarios.
• Determine the best combination of materials, printing technology and finishing options.
• Identify optimisation opportunities to reduce costs or improve margins.
• Support Sales on technically and commercially challenging projects.
• Analyse existing calculations and production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Use ERP systems, costing tools and Excel to manage and analyse costs, production data and different scenarios.
• Contribute to the further professionalisation of our costing and value creation processes. Who are we looking for?You have a strong affinity with numbers and enjoy working in a structured and analytical way. In addition, you:
• have an interest in production processes and technology;
• have a commercial mindset and quickly identify opportunities for optimisation;
• work accurately without losing sight of the bigger picture;
• communicate easily with colleagues across different departments and sites;
• are comfortable working with ERP systems, costing software and Excel;
• ideally have experience in a manufacturing environment;
• consider graphic knowledge or experience in printing, labels or packaging a strong advantage. What do
