• Oversee developments involving digital image repositories and associated data management solutions.
• Coordinate the development and industrialisation of specialised identification and analysis solutions, acting as the operational point of contact for relevant expertise services.
• Consolidate project planning, monitor milestones and deadlines, and identify risks linked to delays, dependencies, or delivery constraints.
• Prepare progress indicators, dashboards, and reporting materials to support informed decision-making.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with architectural standards and contribute to quality assurance, testing, validation, and acceptance processes.

Your Profile
• Proven experience in functional project management, application development, or IT programme coordination within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around common objectives.
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage pressure, mediate between stakeholders, and maintain constructive relationships throughout the delivery process.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and resolving underlying issues.
• A user-oriented approach to decision-making and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Good understanding of information systems, enterprise architecture, business applications, application integration, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies, as well as software testing, validation, and acceptance processes.
• Familiarity with service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
• Experience using GitLab and collaboration or project management tools such as Jira, OpenProject, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams.
• Previous experience in a law enforcement or judicial environment is a strong asset. Practical Information
• Remote working is permitted.
• Languages: Active proficiency in English and at least one of Belgium's national languages is required. Active proficiency in one national language combined with a passive understanding of the other is considered a strong asset. If you're a collaborative IT project professional who enjoys coordinating complex technical deliveries and bringing different teams together, this assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to a challenging modernisation programme with a significant operational impact.
