Why this role exists --------------------

Every capital call, every audit, every filing, every entity kept clean is what turns the mission into money in a founder's account. That's this seat. Two people have held it before you. Both set a high standard. What you'd own -----------------
- Finance Financial strategy, planning, budgeting and treasury. Fund accounting and investor reporting across our funds and entities, including private funds, management companies and PoolCos, working closely with our accountant. Portfolio company reporting, capital calls and distributions. Annual closings, audits and tax filings. Legal & compliance AIFMD and FSMA fund reporting, AML and KYC monitoring, GDPR and ESG disclosure. You'd hold the AMLCO function overseeing investor screening and risk monitoring. Fund vehicle setup and document maintenance across LPAs, PPMs, subscription documents and carry contracts. Corporate governance across our legal entities, including board and shareholder meetings, D&O insurance and risk policies. Operations The FinOps strategy and systems agenda, including the fund management toolstack and the processes that run on it. Vendor relationships across accountant, legal and tax advisors, auditor, banks and tooling. Platform management as the portfolio, investor and vendor base scales. Strategy & ecosystem You'd partner with the founders and the core team on strategic planning. You'd work with the marketing team, operators and ecosystem stakeholders on cross-border partnerships, and support investor relations across our 250+ LP base. In a team this size, you're in the room for the decisions. Who we're looking for ----------------------
- 8+ years in financial management and operations within venture capital, private equity, audit or transaction services, or venture-backed companies. A strong track record in financial accounting and reporting, ideally in a fund environment covering LP reporting, AIFMD and FSMA. Affinity with AML and KYC practices and AMLCO obligations. Hands-on with financial systems and, ideally, fund administration tools. Beyond the CV: strategic thinking paired with hands-on pragmatism, the ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote setup, and comfort sitting across from LPs, founders, regulators, auditors and advisors. Most importantly, you want to build the Belgian tech ecosystem. If you're drawn to this because of the assets under management, this isn't the role for you.
