• Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties is seeking a part-time Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. The Peer Counselor is a paraprofessional support person who provides basic breastfeeding information, encouragement, and support to pregnant and breastfeeding clients as they begin and continue breastfeeding. Qualifications
• Personal breastfeeding experience is required.
• Current or former WIC client preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to attend state-required training sessions and conferences.
• High school diploma.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
