For our Offset activities within our IQM department, we are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Project Management and Quality Follow-up team.
As a Project Manager, you will work closely with a wide range of departments and disciplines. You will play a key role in collaborating with R&D, Application, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, coordinating activities and ensuring projects progress successfully.
Managing IQM projects requires a solid technical understanding of product concepts, working principles and applications. A broad interest in chemistry, physics and engineering is therefore important, together with the ability to understand and connect different technical disciplines.
Starting as an Assistant Project Manager, you will initially support experienced Project Managers in executing projects and activities. This role offers a clear development path, with the ambition for you to grow into an independent Project Manager, timing depending on your experience, technical background and development.
RESPONSABILITIES
• You will lead or contribute to projects for the introduction of new product concepts at our main manufacturing site in Wiesbaden, Germany. You will be responsible for the qualification of raw materials, the definition of production parameters and specifications, the coordination of the scale-up process, and the definition of Quality Control procedures.
• You will lead or contribute to projects for transferring products from Wiesbaden to our manufacturing sites worldwide, ensuring a robust and controlled transfer into production.
• You will lead projects focused on operational improvements, process parameter changes and raw material changes, following a structured and controlled Management of Change (MoC) governance process.
• You will support Manufacturing Management in resolving operational issues by conducting structured root-cause analyses and developing and implementing effective solutions.
• You will investigate customer complaints and translate your findings into effective solutions and improvements on the production lines. JOB REQUIREMENTS
• You have a Master’s degree, preferably with a specialization in Chemistry, Materials Science or Materials Engineering.
• Experience in project management and/or quality management is an asset, but not a requirement. You will receive extensive coaching during your onboarding, supported by experienced colleagues within the IQM department.
• Knowledge of and/or an interest in data management is an asset.
• You are an open and collaborative team player with strong communication skills. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
• You have a broad interest in chemistry, physics and engineering, and are eager to apply this knowledge to practical industrial challenges.
• You are structured, organized and able to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy getting to the root cause of complex issues.
• You have a good command of spoken and written English and are comfortable communicating in an international working environment.
• You are willing to travel and, when required by a project, to spend limited periods of time at other project or manufacturing locations.
