Location:
Mainly remote (far-site), with possible occasional on-site presence in Brussels. 🌍 Environment: European Institutions and international stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
• Business process modelling consultant supporting in the architectural assessment of IT systems and investments.
• Solution architecture design, business-process and data modelling.
• Definition of standards and reference models
• Support for corporate IT governance. Minimum Requirements ✅ Must-Have
Requirements:
• EQF Level 7 qualification (Master’s degree or equivalent) or 5 years of higher education.
• 15 years of IT professional experience.
• English proficiency C1 level or higher.
• Minimum 10 years in enterprise architecture: business, data, application and technology architecture.
• Minimum 10 years in business process modelling and data modelling.
• Minimum 5 years in architecture assessment, governance or architecture compliance review.
• Minimum 10 years in business analysis and requirements definition/elaboration.
• Practical experience with enterprise architecture and modelling tools.
• Experience in a large public administration or in organisations with complex IT landscapes. Required knowledge and competencies:
• Valid TOGAF Foundation or higher certification—or equivalent.
• Modelling using BPMN, UML, ArchiMate or equivalent; tools such as ARIS or similar.
• Target architectures, architectural principles and governance, roadmaps and migration plans.
• Architecture, maturity and compliance assessments; risk analysis, reuse and solution convergence.
• Reference models, specifications, guidelines, standards, taxonomies and blueprints.
• Analysis of processes, data flows, system portfolios, functional/non-functional requirements and business cases.
• Additional certifications such as ArchiMate, BPMN, COBIT, ITIL, PM² or PRINCE2 are valued. 📩 If you meet the requirements and are looking for your next challenge in a European project environment, we would love to hear from you.
