Oxus Metals AI is a Singapore headquartered, AI native company dedicated to advancing data and artificial intelligence solutions for critical mineral discovery. We are seeking a Remote Sensing & Spectral Data Engineer to support advanced mineral exploration projects, with a focus on copper, lithium, and other critical minerals.

Key Responsibilities
Raw Data Processing: Process multi source satellite, airborne, and ground based hyperspectral and multispectral raw data, including radiometric calibration, atmospheric correction, geometric correction, and orthorectification. Mineral Exploration & Interpretation: Apply hyperspectral and multispectral remote sensing to spectral analysis, mineral mapping, and alteration mapping, with a focus on copper, lithium, and other critical minerals. Multi Source Data Integration: Work with the AI team to integrate remote sensing results with geophysical, geochemical, and geological data for AI predictive models. Workflow Optimization & Automation: Develop and optimize standardized workflows for remote sensing data processing and mineral information extraction. Improve automation through programming and scripting. Technical Reporting & Support: Prepare remote sensing geological interpretation reports and provide technical support for field exploration and drill target delineation. Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree or above in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geology, Earth Exploration & Information Technology, or a related field. Exceptional Bachelor’s candidates will also be considered. Remote Sensing & GIS
Skills:
Proficiency in ENVI, ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, SNAP, eCognition, or similar software. Strong experience with hyperspectral, multispectral, and SAR data processing, including complete processing and analysis from raw data. Programming
Skills:
Proficiency in Python and experience with geospatial libraries such as GDAL, Rasterio, ArcPy, or PyQGIS. Ability to develop scripts for batch processing and workflow automation. Industry
Experience:
Experience in mineral exploration, geological mapping, or remote sensing geological interpretation is preferred. Familiarity with spectral signatures and alteration mapping for copper and lithium mineral systems is highly desirable. Language: Strong English communication skills, with the ability to read technical literature and prepare technical reports in English. Preferred: Field geology experience and the ability to correlate remote sensing interpretations with geological outcrops. Soft
