Our mission: to provide reliable and efficient transport solutions, from the Black Sea to the Atlantic Ocean What will you do? You are the dealmaker. Clients with cargo on one side, shipowners and agents on the other, and you bring them together at the right price, on the right ship, at the right moment. Following supply and demand on the chartering market and making the sharpest match between cargo and available ships. Closing the deal: negotiating freight, laytime and demurrage, and nailing down the agreements in the charter party. Overseeing your fixtures from start to finish: keeping shipowner and client aligned and adjusting course the moment something shifts. Staying in tune with a market that never stands still: freight indices, bunker prices and where the ships are. You spot the opening before someone else grabs it. Together with your operations colleagues, you make sure all voyage documentation is correct and complete, so the voyage can be followed up and closed off administratively. Who are you? A shipping degree isn't required. Hunger, nerve and a nose for the deal all the more so. International trade excites you: you want to know how cargo flows run, which ship can handle which cargo and what makes a port or route special, and you enjoy learning more about it. Negotiating is in your nature. You make contacts easily, read the other side and sense when to push and when to let go. You know which contacts are better called and which prefer an email or a WhatsApp. You don't think in hours but in results. You actively go looking for an opening, a ship, a new client. Competition doesn't scare you. You don't let go of a deal until it's done. You have a fluent command of English, spoken and written: the language of shipping. The more multilingual you are, the greater the added value in this sector. You live in Belgium or the UK (London) What can you expect in return?
