• Analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear functional and technical solutions
• Act as the key link between business and IT
• Contribute to stable, high-quality, and maintainable applications ⚙️ Responsibilities
• Perform in-depth functional and technical analyses
• Translate business requirements into:
• Functional specifications
• Technical designs
• Conduct impact and risk analyses on existing mainframe applications
• Analyze incidents and contribute to structural (root cause) solutions
• Develop and adapt applications based on your analyses
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Document analyses, decisions, and solutions
• Proactively suggest simplifications and optimizations 💻 Technical Environment
• Mainframe / z-OS
• COBOL
• DB2
• JCL
• CICS (strong plus)
• Batch & online processing 👤 Profile
• Proven experience as an analyst-developer in a mainframe environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Solid knowledge of COBOL, DB2, and JCL
• Ability to structure and document complex topics clearly
• Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and autonomous
• Strong communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders
• Fluent in Dutch
• Experience in a banking environment is a plus
• Experience in banking is a strong asset
