Key responsibilities
â€
¢ Technical oversight of the managed fleet â€
¢ Planned maintenance, Dry-dockings, refits and technical projects â€
¢ Technical budgets and cost control â€
¢ Class, Flag and statutory compliance â€
¢ Shipyard, contractor and supplier management â€
¢ Supporting Captains and Chief Engineers with operational issues Candidate profile: â€
¢ Chief Engineer, Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager or similar background â€
¢ Strong practical and commercial understanding of vessel operations â€
¢ Proven ability to lead technical projects and make independent decisions â€
¢ Fluent English; German and/or Dutch is an advantage â€
¢ Based in Germany/Benelux preferred â€
¢ Regular travel throughout the European river network required We are looking for someone who can combine technical leadership with practical fleet support and play a key role in the continued development of Riverman Nautical.
