Who are we looking for? We are looking for a talented (Lead) Full Stack Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership for the design, engineering and evolution of our business-critical airline applications and digital services. You will turn product priorities and solution architecture into secure, observable and maintainable software, while helping development teams deliver reliable capabilities for our customers and airline operations. • Translate approved architecture and product needs into clear technical designs, engineering choices and executable delivery approaches.
• Lead application design and define implementation patterns, component boundaries, interfaces and non-functional requirements.
• Make and document technology decisions, prototypes and trade-offs together with solution architects, product owners and engineers.
• Set coding standards, review practices, quality gates and automated testing strategies that support secure, resilient and maintainable software.
• Embed security, privacy, accessibility, performance and resilience requirements into design and code.
• Shape CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, environment strategies and automated release controls in Azure DevOps.
• Promote cloud-native and PaaS-first implementation patterns and strengthen observability through logging, metrics, tracing, alerting and operational dashboards.
• Break down complex technical work, support estimation and sequencing, and identify dependencies and delivery risks early.
• Coordinate technical readiness across development, testing, deployment, operational support and external suppliers.
• Support incident analysis and root-cause resolution, turning operational learning into lasting engineering improvements.
• Lead the incremental modernisation of legacy .
NET applications and integrations while safeguarding business continuity.
• Evaluate emerging capabilities such as AI-assisted development, agents and automation where they offer clear value.

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a comparable discipline, or have gained equivalent expertise through substantial professional experience.
• You have at least eight years of relevant experience in software engineering or technical delivery within complex enterprise environments, including experience as a senior developer, technical lead or development lead.
• You have proven experience leading technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams and influencing stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
• You have owned production-grade applications throughout design, implementation, release, support and continuous improvement.
• You bring expert-level knowledge of C#, ASP.
NET Core and currently supported .
NET versions.
• You have strong experience modernising legacy .
NET Framework applications through incremental refactoring, modularisation, strangler patterns and controlled migration.
• You have deep knowledge of Azure application services and strong experience with integration patterns and Azure Integration Services.
• You are experienced with Azure DevOps and Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, pipelines, artifact management, quality gates and Infrastructure as Code.
• You understand automated testing, secure software design, data-access design and operational engineering practices.
• You can communicate complex technical subjects clearly and constructively to developers, architects, product stakeholders, operations and suppliers.
• You lead through technical credibility, clear decisions and a willingness to work hands-on when needed.
• You combine ownership and pragmatism, balancing delivery speed with security, reliability, maintainability and long-term platform health.
• You enjoy coaching others, exchanging knowledge and creating an inclusive engineering environment.
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French or German is an asset.
• Experience in aviation or another operationally critical regulated sector is an asset. Familiarity with airline systems, operational processes and 24/7 operational environments is a significant advantage. What’s in it for you?
