- and high-voltage electrification projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering and client-facing solutions, serving as both a Technical Lead and a Solution Architect. Your Impact:
• Technical Authority: Lead the design and architecture of Protection & Control (P&A) solutions, ensuring technical excellence from initial engineering through to final commissioning.
• Client Partner: Act as the primary technical interface, translating complex specifications into winning proposals and guiding clients through technical discussions.
• Project Lifecycle Lead: Manage 3–5 concurrent projects, overseeing hardware selection, CAD coordination, and subcontractor performance.
• Hands-on Innovation: Drive the programming of SCADA , substation protection devices and automation systems through modern communication systems, and lead Factory (FAT) and Site (SAT) Acceptance Tests. What You Bring:
• Technical Foundation: A degree in Energy, Electricity, or Electromechanics, paired with 3–5 years of experience in MV/HV Protection & Control systems.
• Core Expertise: Proficiency with protection relays (e.g., DIGSI), substation automation, and industrial Ethernet.
• Communication: A strong technical communicator who can explain and persuade.
• Languages: Fluency in Dutch is essential, with functional French and English for technical documentation. We’d be even more excited if you have:
• Industry Context: A background in Utility environments (DSO/TSO) or large-scale energy infrastructure.
• Advanced Protocols: Deep knowledge of IEC 61850 environments and communication protocols.
• The Digital Edge: Experience with Cybersecurity for energy systems, firewalls, and telecommunication systems (RTU).
• Design Tools: Familiarity with reviewing and coordinating engineering drawings and technical documentation. Why Siemens?
