Job Requirements At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and are comfortable managing international shipments independently.
• Experience within Liquids, Tank Containers, Isotanks, Flexitanks or Bulk Logistics is a strong asset.
• Experience within general cargo forwarding is also highly relevant.
• You have a solid understanding of international forwarding processes and transport regulations.
• You handle forwarding documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communication is key. You're fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or any other language is a plus.
• You combine strong customer focus with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• You remain calm under pressure and know how to prioritize effectively.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented and not afraid to take responsibility.
• You enjoy working in an international environment with customers and partners across the globe.
• You're comfortable working with digital tools and continuously improving the way you work.

Job Responsibilities As a Forwarder within our Liquids team, you take ownership of international shipments involving bulk liquid cargo. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of customers and shipments across both import and export flows. Each customer has specific requirements, timelines and challenges, requiring strong organizational skills, customer focus and the ability to stay in control while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. What you'll be doing
• Managing international liquid shipments from A to Z.
• Coordinating bookings, transport arrangements, documentation, invoicing and operational follow-up.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, depots, agents and carriers.
• Building long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues before they impact the customer.
• Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
• Managing multiple customer flows and shipment priorities simultaneously.
• Advising customers on logistics solutions and operational possibilities.
• Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
