Company Description The Christa McAuliffe Academy School of Arts and Sciences (CMASAS) is a WASC-accredited, private K–12 asynchronous online school that serves a diverse global community of learners. Experienced educators design flexible Personalized Education Plans (PEPs) that honor each student’s unique learning style, goals, and pace. Personalized Education Coaches and Course Instructors collaborate to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student in a safe, caring, student-centered environment. The school emphasizes mastery-based learning, personal accountability, and exploration of individual interests to prepare students for future academic and professional success. Role Description The Student role involves actively participating in assigned courses, completing lessons and projects, and engaging with educators and peers in an asynchronous online environment. Students are expected to follow their Personalized Education Plan, attend scheduled check-ins with Personalized Education Coaches, and communicate regularly with Course Instructors to clarify expectations and seek support. Day-to-day responsibilities include submitting coursework on time, preparing for assessments, and using school-provided online platforms and resources effectively. Students contribute to the school community by demonstrating respect, collaboration, and academic integrity, and by exploring extracurricular interests that align with their personal and educational goals. This is an on-site role located in Hong Kong SAR, with access to school facilities and local support services as needed. Qualifications Ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and meet academic deadlines in an asynchronous learning environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to ask questions, participate in discussions, and respond to feedback. Comfort with using computers, web-based learning platforms, and digital tools for research, assignments, and collaboration. Demonstrated motivation to learn, openness to coaching and feedback, and willingness to take responsibility for personal academic progress. Respect for diversity and readiness to participate in a global, student-centered community that values different cultures and perspectives. Previous experience with online or blended learning is helpful but not required; a growth mindset and curiosity are highly beneficial. Ability to attend on-site sessions and activities in Hong Kong SAR as scheduled by the school.
