You will serve as the technical field safety expert and customer-facing representative of Brady on client sites across EMEA.
Your
Responsibilities:
• On-Site LoTo Discovery: Walk through customer plants to assess layouts, review machine safety, and agree on equipment in scope.
• Machinery Data Capture: Trace, photograph, and document all energy sources (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, and chemical) on equipment.
• LINK360 Authoring & Approval: Draft visual procedures in Brady’s LINK360 software, incorporate customer feedback, and secure final approval.
• Physical Tagging & Installation: Print, mount, and install durable placards and labels/tags at machine isolation points.
• Client Audits & Training: Independently manage safety projects and deliver professional-level training to customer staff on safe isolation practices and software usage, and audit existing LOTO compliance.
• Safety Solutions & commercial awareness: Proactively recommend complementary safety hardware, custom shadow boards, padlocks, lockout devices, or other Brady products. Your
Skills:
• Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical/electrical engineering or industrial safety rules.
•
Experience:
5 to 8 years of practical experience in industrial maintenance, automation, machinery safety, and LOTO. Capable of working independently on projects, acting maturely and assertively (authority to stop production if unsafe), and having experience with ISO standards. Arc-flash experience is a nice-to-have.
• Certifications: Holding any recognized electrical (e.g., BA4/BA5, NEN 3140, NF C 18-510, DGUV V3, BS 7671) or safety credential (e.g., VCA-VOL, Prevention Advisor, IOSH, NEBOSH, CMSE) is an asset.
• Languages & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with required fluency in English, Dutch, and French.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel (>50% travel, mainly Benelux and France) and a valid driver's license.
