About Rubio Monocoat
Rubio Monocoat is a Belgian wood finishing brand headquartered in Izegem. Our oils colour and protect wood in a single layer. We make them for professionals, both in Belgium and abroad. Our marketing team runs campaigns, social media and online ads across multiple markets, and that takes a lot of strong, original visual content.
Your role
You'll be the visual content creator in our marketing team. You film and photograph the material that powers our campaigns, from quick social content to on-site project photography. You'll also work closely with our ad creative designer to make sure your visuals find their way into our ads.
What you'll do
Photo and video
• Film and photograph content for campaigns, social media and online advertising.
• Create short, snappy videos that work on social and in ads: fast-paced, with strong opening seconds, in both vertical and horizontal formats.
• Head out on location on your own to photograph finished projects, applications and completed work.
• Help build a library of our own photos and videos, so campaigns no longer have to wait for visuals.
• Jump in quickly on ad hoc requests from the marketing team.
• Adapt content for our international markets. As an international company, we need most of your content in several languages, and you'll handle the translations and work them into your visuals.
• Take care of product photography whenever there are new products, packaging, labels and so on. Ads, together with our ad creative designer
• Help turn your photos and videos into the formats we need for paid social and online ads.
• Create ads or video edits yourself from your own footage when needed.
• Share your ideas with the team: which visuals and videos work, and what should we try differently next time? Who you are
• You have a strong eye for design. Framing, composition and use of colour come naturally to you, and we value that at least as much as your technical skills.
• You can both film and photograph, and you know your way around camera, lighting and sound.
• You know every step of video production, from scriptwriting to pre
- and post-production.
• You keep up with video trends on social media and in online ads. You don't just shoot classic brand films; you think in reels, hooks and short formats.
• While filming, you're already thinking about how the footage will work in an ad: format, space for text, the first few seconds.
• You enjoy working with designers and marketers and are open to feedback.
• You work independently: you head out with a brief and come back with usable material.
• You have experience with AI tools, or you're keen to learn more about them.
• A passion for wood, interiors or craftsmanship is a nice bonus. Software
• Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. This is a strong plus.
• Figma: nice to have, but not essential. With a good eye for design, you'll pick it up quickly.
• AI: HeyGen and Higgsfield.
