About the Role
We are looking for a Medior AI Engineer to analyze and optimize a business process involving the automated processing of documents and images received at the completion of infrastructure projects. The goal is to identify valuable AI-driven use cases, demonstrate their potential, and develop a Proof of Concept (POC). 🛠️
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and audit existing business processes to identify opportunities for optimization through AI and digital solutions.
• Explore and implement AI use cases for automatically processing and categorizing technical documents and images.
• Extract relevant parameters from documents and images to automatically populate and enrich a machine database.
• Identify and structure information from technical manuals for reuse as maintenance instructions.
• Explore field-based access to maintenance instructions using mobile, geolocation, or tag-based solutions.
• Investigate AI-assisted feedback collection after maintenance, including checklists, comments, and potential voice-assistant capabilities.
• Develop a Proof of Concept for the initial use case and demonstrate its business value.
• 🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Experience with AI engineering and AI-driven process automation.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into practical digital solutions.
• Experience working with document and image processing, information extraction, and data structuring.
• A practical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to develop and validate a POC.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Valid authorization to work in Belgium.
