About the Role
As our freelance Legal Expert, you will provide specialized legal counsel and manage immigration cases for companies and expats in international employment situations.
• Legal Advice & Strategy: Provide high-level advice on Belgian immigration, work permits, and social security.
• Case Management: Prepare and submit applications for single permits, work permits, professional cards, visas, family reunification, and residence permits.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with clients, expats, internal Be Welcome colleagues and government authorities to ensure smooth timing and expectations.
• Legislative Tracking: Stay fully up-to-date with changing regional and federal migration legislation. What We Are Looking For:
• Master’s degree in Law (Belgium).
• Proven expertise in Belgian immigration & social security law.
• Trilingual fluency in Dutch, English, and French (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills, client-centric mindset, and independent decision-making abilities.
• Professional experience in an international environment or as a former expat is a plus. Offer & Collaboration:
