Brussels Centre Seniority: Senior Test Analyst / Project Test Analyst Domain: Insurance — Non-Life / Claims Type: Hands-on testing role combining test analysis, execution, investigation and test management Mission Context The consultant will join an Information Systems team working on a major Non-Life Claims transformation programme, covering claims-management applications and customer declaration portals. The technical environment includes Pegasystems for case/process management, integration with a COBOL / SQL back office through APIs and ASB, plus custom-built customer portals and document-management solutions. This is not a pure Test Manager position. The consultant must personally prepare, execute and investigate System Testing, Integration Testing, SIT and E2E scenarios, while also defining and coordinating the overall testing approach. Pega experience would be particularly relevant, even though it is not explicitly listed as mandatory. Main Responsibilities The consultant will analyze business and technical requirements, identify quality risks, define and maintain the test strategy and Master Test Plan, establish test scope/levels/approach, and coordinate System, Integration, E2E and non-functional testing. The role also includes designing technical and functional test scenarios/cases, preparing test data, personally executing tests, validating results and coverage, investigating incidents and root causes, analyzing APIs, integrations, messaging and E2E transaction flows, managing defects and priorities, reporting testing progress, supporting regression testing and working closely with BAs, Functional Analysts, architects and developers. Soft Skills The candidate should demonstrate analytical and critical thinking, autonomy, ownership, flexibility, proactivity, fast learning, problem-solving, teamwork and excellent communication skills.
