The role You'll work on the backend of our ATS & CRM, mainly in TypeScript and Node.js, and spend real time with our customers to understand how they work. You own critical systems, help set the technical direction, and make sure the platform keeps up as our customer base grows.

What you'll do
✔️ Embed with our largest customers, learn their workflows in detail, and build what they need straight into the product. ✔️ Know the product inside out, so you can configure what already exists to fit each customer's workflow, and build something new where it adds real value. ✔️ Bring together requests from all our customers and prioritise what creates the most value in the product, for every agency using Spott. ✔️ Build integrations and customer-specific solutions, then turn the recurring ones into core product. ✔️ Act as the technical bridge between our biggest accounts and our product and engineering teams. ✔️ Build core product features and AI-driven functionality on our backend, so every system keeps up with our growing customer base. ✔️ Set the technical direction for the parts of the backend you own, lead design discussions and review code to keep quality high as the team scales. What we're looking for ✔️ A Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering, and preferably 2+ years of backend development experience. ✔️ You want to be in front of customers: you can sit with the leadership team of a recruitment agency, understand how they actually work, and translate that into something we can build. ✔️ Self-directed: you set your own plan and communicate it clearly to engineers and customers alike. ✔️ A product expert with vision: you understand the product's architecture well enough to know when to configure what exists and when to build something new. ✔️ A pragmatic problem-solver: you enjoy complex technical challenges, design scalable software and are comfortable with ambiguity. ✔️ Experience building AI-driven applications.
