For our procurement service team (Lillo, Geel and Neder-Over-Heembeek), we are looking for a Chemicals and Packaging Buyer.

About the role
Ensures the compliant, reliable and cost-effective supply of Chemicals & Catalysts and Packaging materials for the O&P EU Belgian Sites Is a key position for the Chemicals and Packaging procurement area supporting the Belgian site operations in the day-to-day procurement activities by ensuring accurate purchase-to-pay (P2P) execution, timely and compliant purchase order processing, supplier data maintenance, operational & trials support and reporting on site chemical and packaging related KPIs and forecast accuracy Ensures supply continuity for internal stakeholders and contributes to safe and reliable plant operations through strong process discipline and compliance with INEOS policies, processes, procedures and procurement governance & legal requirements Responsibilities Procure to Pay (P2P) Create and follow-up with high accuracy contracts in SAP Resolve invoice discrepancies and support Accounts Payable with issue clarification Maintain accurate supplier-, material-, contract
- and master data in SAP and all procurement systems Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement initatives Supplier & Contract Management Support Procurement Specialist Chemicals & Packaging with contract drafting, reviews and renewals by collecting information and preparing documentation Supports trials and quality issues, serving as the liaison between site operations, NOH, and suppliers Monitor savings, supplier KPIs & service levels, working capital impacts and contract validity & documentation completeness for the Belgian Sites Support Supplier onboarding processes and pre-qualification checks HSSE Responsibilities Apply and embed INEOS HSSE policies and safety requirements in all procurement activities Support supplier HSSE qualification and performance evaluations Ensure procurement activities comply with Life Saving Rules and other applicable safety requirements Profile Level of education & experience Professional education in Business, Procurement, Science, Supply Chain or equivalent by experience 0–3 years experience in procurement operations (P2P/S2C), administration or supply chain Technical skills Basic knowledge of procurement processes, P2P controls and documentation Ability to manage supplier and contract data accurately SAP MM, MDG and MS Office proficiency; experience with GEP is a plus Fluent in Dutch and English; French/German beneficial Behavioral skills Communicates clearly, concisely and confidently with different audiences and uses facts and data Strong organisation and prioritisation skills Demonstrate a high attention to detail, accuracy and discipline in procurement procedures, systems, tools and data Proactive approach to issue resolution Compliance-minded, resiliant and acts with integrity & reliability

This position is classified within a salary scale with a gross annual salary between € 68.821 and € 103.224 (incl. year-end bonus and holiday pay).
