The MPC Alliance is a global, non-profit industry association dedicated to advancing the development, standardization, and real-world adoption of secure Multiparty Computation (MPC). We bring together industry leaders, researchers, technology providers, and policymakers to foster collaboration, promote best practices, and accelerate the adoption of MPC and related privacy-enhancing technologies across sectors.
Role Description
The MPC Alliance is inviting industry experts and leaders to take an active role in shaping the work of our three Working Groups as Chairs and Co-Chairs:
🔹 Policy & Standardization Working Group
🔹 Technical & Research Working Group
🔹 Real-World Adoption Working Group
Our Working Groups bring together experts from across industry, academia, policy, and the broader technology ecosystem to advance the understanding, development, and adoption of secure Multiparty Computation (MPC) and related privacy-enhancing technologies.
As a Chair / Co-Chair, you will:
• Help define the Working Group’s priorities, objectives and agenda.
• Chair and facilitate monthly Working Group meetings.
• Work closely with the MPC Alliance team to develop activities, initiatives, and deliverables.
• Help identify relevant industry developments, research, policy initiatives, standards, and use cases. Preferred Qualifications
• Strong understanding of multiparty computation, cryptography, and privacy-enhancing technologies, with the ability to guide technical and strategic discussions.
• Experience leading committees, working groups, or cross-organizational initiatives, including setting goals, managing timelines, and facilitating consensus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear written materials such as reports, position papers, and guidelines. These are voluntary leadership positions. Working Groups meet once per month, with additional coordination as needed around specific initiatives and deliverables. Remote – Open to applicants worldwide. Serving as a Chair or Co-Chair is an opportunity to take an active leadership role within the MPC community, collaborate with experts across sectors, and help shape the priorities and work of the MPC Alliance.
