Your responsibilities
The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for a correct and timely personnel and payroll administration, in line with applicable procedures, Belgium social legislation, and within the overall HR framework of the company.
The role includes preparing reports, administrating employment contracts and addenda, managing the monthly payroll process (including thirteenth month and holiday pay) and administrating the FIP tool.
Your main responsibilities are:
Responsible for the full payroll process from A to Z, including: collection and validation of payroll input, monthly payroll calculations and checks, follow-up social security, taxes, and benefits, coordination with the payroll provider, handling payroll-related questions from employees
Daily management of the FIP tool: supporting the colleagues, answering questions, weekly check, communication
Managing UMF for new employees, leaving employees and employees changing job
Support in fleet management: adapting the data, making reports, backup for full fleet management
Contracts and addenda management: creation, verification, sending and leading contract discussion with new joiners
Administrative support in follow up of monthly reporting and monthly KPI’s: keeping all data up to date and creating reports
Handling the day-to-day mailbox activities
Who are we looking for?
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an HR-related field
3 to 5 years of solid experience in C&B and good knowledge of Belgian social legislation
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
A strong administrative mindset, with the ability to work fast and error-free
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Strong and diplomatic communication skills
An accurate and analytical profile with strong attention to detail
A critical, solution-oriented, and self-starting attitude
A can-do mentality with the ability to understand and translate business needs into HR solutions
Stress resistance and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Experienced with the payroll system E-Blox, Workday and Protime
