Brussels / Remote possible Start: ASAP Duration: Until 31 December 2026 Commitment: Full-time, up to 90 days in 2026 Daily rate: €250–€900/day Travel: Up to 5% Language: English – Full professional proficiency Dutch or French – Nice to have The Role We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer / DevOps Engineer with strong Python and cloud expertise to help build scalable applications, automation solutions and modern cloud infrastructure in a fast-moving innovation environment. You will work closely with technical and business teams, contributing to architecture, backend and frontend development, data platforms, DevOps and AI-driven automation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Python web services and APIs Contribute to frontend, backend, data platforms and overall architecture Design and improve CI/CD pipelines Support scalable cloud deployments and infrastructure Collaborate with IT teams on service communication and integrations Develop custom solutions and automation for data, risk and other business teams Provide technical input to business analysis and solution design Establish coding, documentation and engineering best practices Implement AI-based regression testing Advise on technology choices and long-term architecture Continuously improve workflows, processes and development practices Backend Technologies Python 3.10+ FastAPI Celery SQLModel / Pydantic / Pydantic AI SQLAlchemy PostgreSQL Alembic REST APIs / JWT Git Black / Flake8 Programmatic integration of AI models WordPress administration and plugin/theme development DevOps & Cloud GitLab CI/CD ArgoCD Kubernetes Helm Docker Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Compute Engine IAM / Secret Manager Monitoring, logging and error reporting BigQuery / Cloud Storage / Cloud SQL VPC networking Vertex AI Linux Nginx WireGuard UFW / iptables Frontend – Nice to Have TypeScript Next.js NPM ESLint Prettier Husky Ideal Profile Proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack Developer in a startup or scale-up environment Strong hands-on Python, cloud architecture and deployment expertise Comfortable working across frontend and backend environments Strong understanding of scalable application and data architecture Experienced with modern DevOps and cloud-native practices Autonomous, structured and highly execution-oriented Strong team player who values trust, feedback and collaboration Able to operate independently without micromanagement Committed to clean, maintainable, well-documented code Curious and willing to learn new technologies when the project requires it Experience in B2B trade or trade credit insurance is a plus Key Skills Python | FastAPI | Kubernetes | ArgoCD | GCP | PostgreSQL | Docker | GitLab CI/CD | Cloud Architecture | AI Automation | DevOps | Full-Stack Development Interested?
