We are seeking a Software Asset Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT licenses and ensuring compliance while driving cost optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Pilot the complete lifecycle of IT licenses, from request and approval to acquisition, deployment, monitoring, and renewal.
• Maintain an accurate, reliable and up‑to‑date database of active, expired, renewable or retired licenses.
• Analyze contracts, usage terms and license clauses in collaboration with Procurement, IT and Finance teams.
• Examine usage data to identify unused, under‑utilized or oversized software and propose optimization measures.
• Define and track key performance indicators such as active licenses, unused licenses, upcoming renewals, compliance risks and potential savings.
• Prepare analyses, reports and dashboards to support management decision‑making. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT licensing, IT Asset Management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset, administrative rigor and proactive ownership.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL and/or Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Good knowledge of major vendors’ license models and SAM/ITAM solutions.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with a working command of English. Nice to have
• Experience with IT procurement processes and contract negotiations.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, ISO 19770 or SAM-specific credentials.
• Familiarity with additional SAM tools (e.g., Snow License Manager, Flexera).
