His/her task will include
• assisting in the preparation of research proposals, funding applications, ethics submissions and project reports;
• conducting literature reviews, designing research instruments and coordinating research projects;
• conducting qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis using software such as NVivo and SPSS;
• arranging and conducting interviews and focus groups, as well as designing survey questionnaires;
• drafting research manuscripts and presentation materials for conferences and journals;
• assisting in the development of operational manuals, training materials and reports;
• supporting event planning and project-related activities; and
• performing other duties as assigned. Appointment Criteria Applicants should have (i) a Master's/MPhil degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline; (ii) solid training and experience in research methods and data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative; (iii) demonstrated experience in preparing research proposals, funding applications, research reports and academic manuscripts; (iv) excellent English and Chinese proficiency; (v) a minimum of two years of relevant experience in research project coordination, data analysis, research report writing and/or academic publication. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
