The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.

Location:
Kwu Tung North Construction Site Job Duties Design Review and Checking: Review and comment on the Contractor’s architectural design submissions, including drawings, calculations, and reports. Verify compliance with contract requirements, statutory regulations, and relevant codes of practice. Material & Method Statement Assessment: Check and endorse material approval submissions, ensuring conformity with specifications and performance standards. Review and advise on method statements for construction, dismantling, foundation works, and temporary works. Site Supervision and Coordination: Assist in monitoring construction works to ensure quality and compliance with approved designs. Report on workmanship, deviations, and corrective measures required. Contract Administration Support: Prepare technical assessments and recommendations for compensation events, variations, claims, and contractual matters related to architectural works. Maintain proper records of design reviews, approvals, and site inspections. Liaison and Communication: Act as technical representatives in meetings with the Client, consultants, and authorities Provide timely responses to queries raised by the Project Manager or other stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor Degree of Architecture and a Master Degree of Architecture (FIVE years academic training); A registered architect and professional member of HKIA Possessing five (5) years working experience in an architectural firm and at. least one (1) year’s post-qualification relevant experience; and Attain Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: Grade “E” in Chinese language and English language (syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ Chinese language and English language in 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); Demonstrated experience in architectural design review, construction supervision, and compliance with local codes and standards; Proficiency in reviewing technical submissions, including design calculations, drawings, material specifications, and method statements; Familiarity with relevant statutory requirements, codes of practice, and contract administration procedures in Hong Kong; Good practical knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Revit and BIM; Possess a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) and is required to carry out site inspection, site meeting and site measurement periodically related to the project; and Prior experience in Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), specifically in design coordination and construction supervision, is preferred.
