It's more than a job As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. And by transporting medicines, toys and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods, you are making small and big moments possible for people all around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine. ‎ As Sea Freight Export Specialist in our Operational Care Gateway team, you play a central role in coordinating LCL shipments and connecting partners and teams across our international sea freight network. By ensuring efficient consolidations, operational excellence and cost-effective solutions, you help deliver outstanding service to our customers while contributing to the success and growth of our business. How you create impact Plan and coordinate export LCL shipments and consolidations to ensure smooth and efficient transport execution Review shipment requirements, routing options and compliance standards to support seamless sea freight operations Maintain accurate shipment data and ensure information quality across internal systems Prepare and validate transport and shipping documentation Collaborate closely with internal teams as well as carriers, co-loaders and other logistics partners Identify and resolve operational challenges while supporting service quality, efficiency and profitability What we would like you to bring Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within sea freight or export operations Experience with LCL, gateway operations, consolidation planning or transport planning is an advantage Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders across the supply chain Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage What's in it for you Kuehne+Nagel offers a wide range of attractive employee benefits designed to support your well‑being, development, and long-term career growth.
