As an Investment & ALM Intern, you will support the Investment & ALM team in portfolio monitoring, market research, reporting, and data analysis.
This role provides valuable exposure to financial markets, investment management, and asset liability management activities within a professional investment environment.
What the role is?
Conduct research on financial markets, economic trends, and industry developments
Assist in preparing market commentary and investment insights for internal use
Help monitor portfolio performance and risk metrics.
Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update investment databases and dashboards.
Assist in automating data collection and reporting processes using Excel, Power BI, Python, or other tools (if applicable).
Provide general support to the investment team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and documenting research findings.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on investment strategies and opportunities.
What we look for?
University postgraduate or undergraduate students major in Actuarial Science, Statistics, finance or related disciplines
No prior full-time work experience required
Previous internship or project experience in finance, investment, or related fields is a plus
Experience with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg) is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
Interest in financial markets and a willingness to learn
