To learn more about CIGP, please visit www.cigp.com. Roles and Responsibilities Providing support to the global management team, based in Hong Kong, to facilitate strategic decision making. Responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting, Analysis & Business Support Assist in preparing timely and accurate management reports for group companies, providing insights to support business performance, strategic decision-making, and growth initiatives. Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking against key business objectives. Perform financial analysis and provide meaningful commentary on business results, trends, and key performance indicators to support management discussions. Partner with internal stakeholders across business functions to understand financial impacts, improve decision-making, and support commercial initiatives. Assist in the preparation of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. Accounting Operations & Financial Control Support the maintenance of accurate accounting records, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, working closely with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and strong financial controls. Manage Accounts Payable activities, including the review and processing of vendor invoices and day-to-day business expense payments. Maintain high standards of financial data quality through the review, validation, and reconciliation of information obtained from multiple systems, service providers, and internal stakeholders. Process Improvement, Automation & Data Analytics Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance controls, and improve operational efficiency. Support the development and implementation of automation solutions, dashboards, and data analytics tools using technologies such as Excel, VBA, Power BI, Python, or similar platforms. Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving scalability, reporting capabilities, and decision support across the organisation. Client Administration Services Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders on administration services provided to client entities, including financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliations, and related financial matters. Review and monitor service provider deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agreed standards and timelines.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA etc.) coupled with excellent technical accounting skills preferred Minimum of 1-3 years’ solid experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Accountant, Controller or a similar position. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry in Hong Kong is a plus Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and reporting standards (IFRS or HK Reporting Standards) Strong professional integrity, analytical skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to deliver under pressure in a timely manner Strong in collaboration and teamwork Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and financial reporting software (including significant data handling); (programming language (VBA, Python) is a plus); and Good command of written and spoken English. More experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Analyst.
