Job Requirements At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and are comfortable managing export shipments independently.
• Experience within Liquids, Flexitanks, Tank Containers or Bulk Logistics is a strong asset.
• Experience within general cargo forwarding is also highly relevant.
• You have a solid understanding of international forwarding processes and transport regulations.
• You handle forwarding documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communication is key. You're fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or other languages is a plus.
• You combine strong customer focus with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• You remain calm under pressure and know how to prioritize effectively.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented and not afraid to take responsibility.
• You enjoy working in an international environment with customers and partners across the globe.
• You're comfortable working with digital tools and continuously improving the way you work.

Job Responsibilities As a Forwarder within our Liquids team, you take ownership of export shipments involving liquid cargo transported in flexitanks. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of customers and shipments, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously. Whether you're coordinating a shipment, resolving an operational challenge or advising a customer on the most suitable logistics solution, you take ownership from start to finish. What you'll be doing
• Managing export shipments from A to Z within the Liquids division.
• Coordinating bookings, transport arrangements, documentation, invoicing and operational follow-up.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, agents and carriers.
• Building long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues before they impact the customer.
• Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Managing multiple customer flows and export shipments simultaneously.
• Advising customers on logistics solutions and transport possibilities.
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, transport regulations and internal procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
