WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER | BELGIUM
Lead People. Improve Operations. Drive Change.
An established organisation operating within a highly regulated distribution environment is looking to appoint a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead an operational team through an important phase of growth and change.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations, develop a high-performing team and play a key role in shaping the future of the operation.
We're looking for a visible, pragmatic leader who enjoys being close to the shop floor, developing people and driving operational excellence.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory and outbound activities.
- Creating a safe, productive and engaged working environment.
- Coaching and developing supervisors and operational teams.
- Driving service, quality and operational performance.
- Establishing clear KPIs and performance expectations.
- Improving processes and ways of working through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting operational change and helping teams successfully adapt to new ways of working.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners. What We're Looking For You will likely bring:
- Experience leading warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
- A proven track record of managing operational teams and frontline supervisors.
- A strong people leadership style with a visible presence on the warehouse floor.
- Experience improving warehouse performance, productivity, accuracy or service levels.
- The ability to build trust, manage change and create team engagement.
- Exposure to regulated, quality-focused or operationally demanding environments.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively when required. Experience within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, industrial distribution or FMCG environments would all be relevant. The Successful Person We're looking for someone who:
