- Manage the MEP design process from concept through IFC, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, and BMS/EPMS scopes
- Review and challenge consultant deliverables for quality, coordination, and compliance with the owner's requirements
- Chair design workshops and technical reviews, and close out design decisions with clear records
- Interface with utility providers, authorities, and commissioning teams
- Manage design change, track technical risk, and support procurement with technical evaluations
- Coordinate closely with the CSA Design Manager and the wider owner's team What we are looking for
- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent
- 8+ years in design management on critical or mission-critical projects, with data center experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience delivering projects in Belgium and familiarity with Belgian codes, permitting, and utility processes
- Fluent Flemish (Dutch) is essential, plus professional English
- Strong ownership mentality: you represent the client, not the contractor
