Let’s be honest: most job ads sound the same. “Dynamic environment”, “passionate team”, “exciting challenge”… So let’s skip that and just tell you what this is about.
We’re ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS, an IT company based in Eupen, and we’re looking for someone to join our recruitment team. You don’t need ten years of experience — what matters to us is that you’re curious, you like people, and you want to learn a job that’s actually pretty fascinating.
What you’d actually be doing
Your job is to connect the right people with the right projects. Concretely, that means talking with our clients to understand who they need, searching for candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms, and having real conversations with people about their skills, their ambitions, and whether the job would make them happy. You’d follow candidates from the first call to the signed offer.
This is a job for someone who truly enjoys meeting people. You’ll spend your days discussing, listening, and motivating candidates — and how they experience the process matters as much as the result. For us, every candidate should walk away with a positive impression, whether they get the job or not. That’s the mindset we’re looking for.
We also use AI a lot in our daily work — to write better, search smarter, and screen faster. If you already play with ChatGPT or Claude, great. If not, we’ll show you. Either way, you’ll learn skills that will matter for the next twenty years of your career.
Who we’re looking for
Someone who genuinely likes talking to people, on the phone included. A first experience in recruitment or HR helps (an internship counts), but motivation matters more to us than your CV. You should be comfortable in French and English — German is a bonus, not a requirement. And no, you don’t need to know how to code — but a real interest in IT, new technologies and AI is definitely an asset here.
What you get from us
A long-term position, not a short mission. A mentor who takes time to teach you the job, including the AI side of it. Home office up to 2 days a week, flexible schedules, extra-legal benefits, and a team where you can ask “stupid” questions without anyone judging you (spoiler: they’re never stupid).
