- Independently manage a diverse client portfolio;
- Oversee the complete accounting for various client files;
- Review and approve VAT returns, periodic closings, and annual financial statements;
- Assume final responsibility for specific accounting files;
- Lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 3 to 4 employees;
- Serve as the point of contact for both junior and senior accountants;
- Work closely with the tax, VAT, and legal teams;
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients;
- Contribute to specific business development initiatives;
- Ensure the quality of services provided and adherence to deadlines;
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of the Accountancy team. Profile
- Has at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably at an accounting firm;
- Has a thorough knowledge of accounting from A to Z and is capable of managing complex cases;
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting;
- Holds an ITAA certificate, which is a plus;
- Experience in team management is preferred, but a Senior Accountant seeking to advance to a managerial role will also be considered;
- Is fluent in Dutch and has a good command of English; knowledge of French is an added advantage;
- Is known for his or her leadership qualities, team spirit, and sense of responsibility;
