Key responsibilities
- Project procurement: manage end-to-end sourcing for asset maintenance, upgrades and infrastructure investments, covering technical services, mechanical and electrical works, specialist equipment services and facilities-related projects.
- Indirect sourcing: develop and execute sourcing initiatives across technical maintenance and other business support services.
- Tendering and contracting: lead competitive tendering and retendering processes, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms and establish robust contracts and framework agreements.
- Supplier management: manage relationships with key contractors and suppliers, lead periodic performance reviews and drive improvements in service quality, delivery and commercial performance.
- Category management: develop and implement category strategies across direct and indirect spend, identifying opportunities to consolidate demand, improve value and mitigate supply risks.
- Stakeholder collaboration: work closely with project management, operations and engineering teams to anticipate requirements, align sourcing priorities and support project timelines. *Profile*
- At least 10 years of procurement experience, with a strong track record in end-to-end strategic sourcing and contracting within technical, highly regulated industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience sourcing CAPEX and OPEX engineering, maintenance and infrastructure contracts (strong focus on direct technical procurement)
- Strong negotiation, contract drafting and supplier performance management skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing category strategies across direct and indirect spend.
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in Dutch and English.
