Social Media Internship | Brussels | September 2026

Il y a 4 semaines

Brussels Metropolitan Area, BRU, Belgique European Food Forum Temps plein
*Curious about food, education, EU policy and what’s happening in Brussels? Love social media and finding creative ways to make complex ideas easy to understand?* Food is part of everyone’s daily life — but the world behind it can be incredibly complex. You’ll help us turn that complexity into fresh, simple and engaging media content: explaining what is happening across our food systems, what the EU and its Member States are doing, and why it matters. This internship is about much more than simply “doing social media”. It’s about making European policymaking easier to understand and helping bridge the gap between EU institutions, Members of the European Parliament and citizens. From Reels and TikToks to videos, infographics and other creative formats, you’ll help us find new ways to make food policy simple, fresh, effective and accessible — without losing the complexity behind it. *And you won’t just read about EU policymaking. You’ll see the conversation happening up close.* Who we are The European Food Forum (EFF) is an independent, politically-led and non-partisan organisation that creates a space for open dialogue on the future of European food systems. Governed by elected Members of the European Parliament, EFF brings together policymakers, food supply chain actors, civil society, researchers, academia and public institutions to exchange perspectives and contribute to constructive debate. As part of our small international Secretariat, you’ll work closely with the team and our Food Supply Chain Intern, gaining first-hand exposure to the people and ideas shaping European food policy. Internship options You can join us through one of two routes:
- Academic Internship — An internship undertaken as part of your university programme and recognised for academic credit.
- Erasmus+ Traineeship — An internship supported through Erasmus+ mobility funding, subject to your university and Erasmus+ eligibility requirements. Applicants should identify the option that applies to them and ensure that they have the necessary university recognition or financial support. Please check the relevant requirements with your university’s internship, career or Erasmus+ services before applying. *For Erasmus+ applicants, ongoing studies or graduation within the previous year must comply with Erasmus+ eligibility requirements.

Bring your ideas Help us experiment with new formats, trends and ways of telling the EFF story online. Our Structured Dialogues currently explore four key areas: 1. EU Food Innovation 2. Food Supply Chain & Food Security 3. Healthy EU Citizens 4. Policy Alignment and Market Dynamics in the Food Sector *Spot a great Reel opportunity? Have an idea for a TikTok series? Think an EU policy discussion could become a great 30-second explainer?* *Pitch it. Create it.
