Freelance Opportunity | Expert Application Architect – WinDev | Belgium
We are looking for an experienced
Application Architect / Senior WinDev Consultant
for a long-term application maintenance and evolution project in Brussels.
📌
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document existing application architectures.
- Conduct technical audits and map databases, interfaces and data flows.
- Identify technical dependencies, operational requirements and maintenance risks.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
- Troubleshoot incidents and implement technical solutions.
- Develop approved enhancements and conduct technical testing.
- Prepare deployment, backup and maintenance procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to business and IT teams. 🔧 Required Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience with WinDev client-server / thick-client architecture .
- Hands-on knowledge of WinDev and HFSQL.
- Application maintenance, troubleshooting and development.
- Application architecture documentation and technical auditing.
- Database structures, interfaces, synchronisation and replication.
- Risk assessment, application security and maintenance planning. 📍
Location:
Brussels, Belgium 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – minimum 50% onsite per week 📅 Duration: 145 working days in 2027 🗣️ Language: French – mandatory 💼 Contract: Freelance ⚠️ Important
Requirements:
- Must have own development environment and required licences.
- A valid WinDev 2025 licence is mandatory for maintenance, compilation and application generation.
- No development licence or workstation will be provided.
