- Translate business requirements into clear, structured functional designs
- Design end-to-end IT solutions covering UI, business logic, and data flows
- Act as the functional bridge between business, developers, testers, and project managers
- Validate solutions during implementation and support delivery follow-up
- Prepare and execute functional and integration test cases
- Analyse incidents, propose corrective actions, and support continuous improvement
- Work on multiple projects in parallel within a complex application landscape
- Review Cobol code and generate SQL queries when needed to validate logic or data What you bring
- 5+ years’ experience as a Functional Analyst in complex IT environments
- Strong background in regulated environments
- Proven experience translating business needs into IT solutions
- Solid understanding of legacy systems (Cobol/Microfocus, SQL databases)
- Ability to read source code and interact confidently with technical teams
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery contexts
- Strong communication skills
