About the Role
Synctiv is looking for a Medior Test Automation Engineer to join an Agile team in Brussels. You will contribute to developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, improving testing strategies, and ensuring software quality. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Work with Java and Playwright to support test automation activities.
- Design and maintain test scenarios using BDD/Gherkin.
- Perform API and end-to-end testing.
- Analyse test results, investigate failures, and identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers and QA professionals in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Playwright.
- Experience developing or maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of BDD/Gherkin, API testing, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Jira, XRAY, Confluence, and SQL is an asset.
- Fluency in French or Dutch and a good command of English.
