Ghent Flemish Region, VLG, Belgique STRIDE Europe Temps plein
An experienced content profile combining strong copywriting and brand voice with social media management, content strategy and performance analysis. You own STRIDE’s organic content engine : what we say, where we say it, how consistently we say it, and whether it works. You turn projects, expertise and ideas into content people actually want to read, watch and engage with — and use data to continuously improve what we do. You work closely with the Head of Marketing and our local satellite teams across Europe. About STRIDE STRIDE is a fast-growing player in fitness and sports infrastructure, headquartered near Ghent, Belgium. We are the one-stop shop for professional training environments : we design, produce and install, from concept to delivery, with one team and one process. Our clients go from an empty space to a ready-to-use gym without the hassle of coordinating multiple suppliers. That approach has brought us projects and clients including FC Barcelona, Lamine Yamal and The Mix Brussels . Today, we are active across twelve European countries — and growing fast. Why this role Marketing is a key engine behind STRIDE’s growth. As we expand internationally, the amount of stories we can tell (projects, products, expertise, people and ideas) is growing quickly. At the same time, AI allows us to produce and scale content faster than ever. But more content does not automatically mean better content. We want STRIDE to have a recognisable voice, strong organic channels and a content operation driven by quality and performance rather than volume alone . That is where you come in. You will own the organic content and social side of STRIDE: from deciding which stories deserve attention, to writing and distributing them, measuring their performance and improving what we do next. What you will own 1. Content strategy, copy & brand voice You help decide what STRIDE talks about and how we talk about it . You will:
·     Develop and manage our content calendar and core content themes.
·     Identify strong stories across projects, products, people, expertise and the wider fitness industry.
·     Turn those stories into content adapted to different channels and audiences.
·     Write and edit blogs, social media content, website copy, GEO/SEO content and campaign messaging.
·     Safeguard and further develop STRIDE’s verbal identity and tone of voice.
·     Make sure our communication feels recognisably STRIDE across markets and channels.
·     Find ways to turn one strong story or project into multiple relevant content formats rather than isolated posts.
·     Work with our European satellite teams to adapt content locally without diluting the overall brand. 2. Organic social media You own the day-to-day development of STRIDE’s organic social channels. This includes:
·     Managing channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
·     Planning, publishing and following up content.
·     Managing and developing the community around our channels.
·     Testing new formats, content angles and distribution approaches.
·     Exploring and launching new channels where there is a clear opportunity, including platforms such as Pinterest or TikTok.
·     Deciding, based on performance, which experiments we scale, adjust or stop. The goal is not simply to publish consistently. It is to build channels that contribute to STRIDE’s brand, reach and commercial growth . 3. Content performance & analytics You don’t publish and move on. You want to understand what worked, what didn’t and why . You will track and analyse relevant KPIs across content, social media and the website, including:
·     Organic reach and engagement.
·     Audience and follower growth.
·     Website traffic generated through organic and social channels.
·     Content and landing-page performance.
·     Leads and conversions attributable to organic content where measurable.
·     Performance by topic, format and channel.
·     SEO/GEO content performance together with the technical owner. You translate this into clear reporting and, more importantly, concrete decisions. Our expected feedback loop is simple: Publish → Measure → Understand → Adjust → Publish better. 4. AI-supported content production We use AI extensively and expect you to do the same. AI should make our content operation faster and smarter — but the final output should never feel generic or machine-generated. You remain accountable for originality, accuracy, narrative, tone of voice and editorial quality . You will:
·     Edit and enrich AI-assisted content into strong human writing.
·     Add real examples, opinions, expertise and angles.
·     Recognise and remove generic or repetitive AI language.
·     Use AI tools proactively to research, develop and repurpose content.
·     Feed your learnings back into prompts, style guides and examples so our AI-supported workflows improve structurally over time. We don’t want someone who simply uses AI to write faster. We want someone who understands how to use it without sacrificing quality . 5. Content operations & project management A strong content operation also requires discipline. You will:
·     Own the content calendar.
·     Coordinate deadlines and publishing across channels.
·     Collect input from sales, projects, product and other teams.
·     Coordinate relevant external content partners.
·     Work closely with the Head of Marketing and local satellite teams.
·     Keep projects moving without needing someone else to chase deadlines. What sits outside the role We want ownership to be clear. Paid advertising The Head of Marketing owns Meta Ads, Google Ads, media buying, targeting, campaign optimisation and the technical ads-to-CRM flow. You may contribute campaign concepts, messaging and copy. Technical SEO/GEO Technical SEO/GEO infrastructure — including schema, indexing, technical website changes and related development — is handled internally or through specialist external partners. You own the editorial quality and performance of the content . Visual branding Our art director owns the visual identity, including branding systems, design language and materials. Video production & photography The Head of Marketing coordinates video editing and photography, supported by external partners where required. You will naturally work with these people to turn stories and ideas into strong content. Who you are You are first and foremost a strong communicator and writer , but you also understand that good content needs distribution, structure and measurement. You are probably a good fit if:
·     You can turn a technical, commercial or complex story into content people actually want to read.
·     You are a sharp copywriter with a strong feel for tone, narrative and structure.
·     You instinctively rewrite copy that sounds generic, corporate or AI-generated.
·     You can show examples of content or channels for which you had real ownership.
·     You are comfortable switching between writing a LinkedIn post, reviewing website copy, planning next month’s content and analysing performance.
·     You don’t just publish content — you want to know what performed and why.
·     You understand social media beyond posting and have experience growing or developing channels.
·     You use AI extensively and understand how to get better output from it.
·     You are comfortable with dashboards, KPIs and performance reporting.
·     You can manage a content calendar and multiple stakeholders independently.
·     You proactively explore new channels, formats and angles rather than waiting for a brief.
·     You communicate clearly and get things done. A genuine interest in sport, fitness or performance is a strong plus. Language Fluent English is important. STRIDE operates internationally, and English is used extensively across our content and when working with our European satellite teams. A good level of Dutch is a strong asset for communicating effectively in our home market and within the Belgian team. What success looks like After your first year:
