AD (Principal Architect) – Blockchain Technology

Location:
 Brussels, Belgium Work Arrangement: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office Contract Duration: 6 months We are looking for an experienced AD (Principal Architect) with a strong background in Blockchain and Digital Asset technologies to join an enterprise transformation project in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of overall IT experience and at least 5+ years of relevant architecture experience , with strong hands-on knowledge of blockchain platforms, tokenization, stablecoins and smart contract technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise blockchain and digital asset architecture across business and technology domains.
- Design scalable and secure solutions involving stablecoins, digital assets and tokenization .
- Develop and review architecture for Solidity smart contracts and blockchain-based applications.
- Provide technical leadership on Ethereum and Hyperledger Besu based solutions.
- Define blockchain integration patterns, APIs and distributed-ledger architectures.
- Evaluate blockchain platforms, technologies and frameworks against business and technical requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, security, infrastructure and business teams to translate requirements into robust architecture.
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, technical roadmaps and governance.
- Assess security, scalability, performance, interoperability and regulatory considerations for blockchain solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance to development teams and review technical designs and implementations.
- Support cloud-based blockchain deployments and integrations where required.
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation, technical specifications and design decisions. Mandatory Skills
