Role Description The AI & Business Intelligence Analyst is a full-time role based in Brussels with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The person in this role will collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support strategic and operational decision-making. Daily tasks include designing and maintaining data models, building and refining dashboards, and leveraging business intelligence tools to deliver clear insights. The analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and recommend improvements based on data-driven findings. The role also involves monitoring data quality, documenting methodologies, and contributing to the development of AI-driven or advanced analytical use cases that support NBN’s mission. Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into practical business insights.
- Proficiency in data modeling and experience structuring datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Hands-on experience creating dashboards and visualizations using modern business intelligence tools.
- Background in business analysis, including requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts, or advanced analytics techniques is an asset.
- Comfort working with databases, querying languages (e.g., SQL), and data integration processes.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional context, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Self-directed work style, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and openness to a hybrid work environment.
