#### HQ Location #### hq Department #### Full-time Contract YUST combines short and long-term stays, unique events and good food, located in creative and emerging neighbourhoods. With the continued growth of the concept, YUST Group is on the lookout for an additional Financial/Business Controller. ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR? As YUST Group’s Financial/Business Controller you will oversee the financial operations of our Hotel Group. Your responsibilities will include, among others: Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and manage monthly financial reports for operational companies (OpCos)
- Review and validate financial inputs and results from OpCos, acting as a liaison between OpCos and the YUST Group CEO
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for both OpCos and YUST Group
- Provide financial input for quarterly Board of Directors presentations, with a focus on key financial metrics
- Support the preparation of financial statements and documentation for the annual audit
- Contribute to the financial sections of the annual report and the minutes of the General Assembly Collaboration & Coordination
• Oversee invoice processing and accounting, coordinated through external service providers
- Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping
- Provide OpCo financial data and insights for acquisition business plans Process Improvement & Compliance
• Monitor and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Manage credit applications and oversee the credit portfolio for all (daughter) companies Strategic Support
• Support the CEO and other senior stakeholders with ad hoc financial analyses
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making at all levels GOT THE SKILLS?
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or have equivalent experience
- A first experience as a financial controller
- Proficient in financial software (experience in Exact Online is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
- Sociable, a team player and an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (French or German is a plus) with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Well-structured and detail-oriented but with a hands-on and no-nonsense mentality
- You are willing and have the ability to travel from time to time (Netherlands/Germany).
- Excellent analytical and organisational ability
- Experience in real estate accounting is considered an asset
