Senior DevSecOps Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a leading international company operating in the mobility and transportation sector. In this role, you will contribute to the automation, security, and optimization of business-critical IT systems while working within a multidisciplinary DevSecOps team focused on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and document automated software deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor security vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance.
- Perform patch management for development and production environments.
- Maintain and support development environments.
- Test, implement, and document new technologies.
- Provide second-line support for software applications and IT infrastructure.
- Support software releases, updates, and go-live activities.
- Collaborate closely with system administrators, software engineers, and other technical teams. Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Linux (CentOS, RedHat, or Fedora).
- Solid understanding of IT Security principles.
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Experience with networking technologies (routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls).
- Experience with deployment automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Jenkins.
- Basic knowledge of VMware ESXi/vCenter or similar virtualization platforms.
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French. Nice to Have Experience with one or more of the following technologies is considered an advantage:
- Python, Perl, or Bash
- Java, C, or C++
- Puppet
- Nagios or Zabbix
- Git
- Databases
- IntelliJ, Eclipse, or Visual Studio Code Experience
- Master's degree in a technical field or at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps-related role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cyber Security. Skills We are looking for someone who:
- Works in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
- Produces and maintains high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborates effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Can work independently while knowing when to seek support from colleagues.

- Has a proactive security mindset and identifies potential risks with appropriate mitigation proposals.
- Is flexible regarding
working hours
and willing to provide occasional support during evenings, nights, or weekends.
- Is willing to travel within Belgium when required.
