We are currently looking for a HAZOP Lead to join our team. As HAZOP/LOPA Lead, you will play a key role in identifying, analysing and mitigating process safety risks within both new and existing installations. You will be responsible for leading safety studies, facilitating risk assessment workshops and ensuring that safety recommendations are properly documented and implemented. Main responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate HAZOP and LOPA studies for new and existing process installations.
- Prepare, coordinate and document the complete HAZOP/LOPA process, from planning through reporting.
- Support process safety activities throughout project phases, from design and engineering to implementation and operation.
- Analyse and challenge technical and safety-related decisions to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with process engineers, safety specialists and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members involved in safety studies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of process safety methodologies and risk management practices.
Your profile
- Proven experience leading HAZOP and LOPA studies in industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of process safety principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset and commitment to safety.
- Fluent Dutch and English.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or process industry. What ALTEN has to offer
