* We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Designer with strong expertise across PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS. The ideal candidate will excel in designing high‑level and detailed application solutions, collaborating with global stakeholders, and contributing to critical initiatives within Capital Markets or Investment Banking domains. **
Key Responsibilities

- Design High‑Level and Detailed Application Designs based on business requirements.
- Work closely with Application Owners, Business Analysts, Testers, Operations Teams, and other project stakeholders.
- Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs for mainframe applications.
- Support development teams with design clarifications and technical guidance.
- Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices and global collaboration standards.
- Apply domain knowledge in Capital Markets / Investment Banking to solution design.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and methodologies. **Essential Skills*

- Strong knowledge of Mainframe Concepts: PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS.
- Proven experience in Application Design within development projects.
- Hands‑on experience creating HLDs and LLDs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and conceptual understanding of complex systems.
