Due to rapid growth within the company a new position has become available for Technical Operations Support. Job Role This position contains elements of warehouse management, technical support, build and configuration and general operations. You will be expected to lead logistical management of preparing physical hardware, with the delivery and arrangement of the installation process. We have provided a brief overview of each area. Tech Support You will be offering 1st and 2nd Line support to our clients. The position will involve taking direct calls from clients and our engineers in the field, pro-actively troubleshooting issues, resolving problems remotely and identifying root causes, all within our ticket management framework. You will be provided with training on our specific hardware, configurations, processes and techniques, but should understand the facility of a remote support desk. You should have a knowledge of PC hardware configuration and management of Windows, Linux and Android. Build IT Support You will be configuring and preparing digital signage hardware in line with approved workflows and processes. You will ensure all kit is ready, according to the specifications and requirements before the day it is due on site. You will work both independently and collaboratively with wider teams to ensure equipment is configured, tested, documented and shipped to a high standard. You will be responsible for owning and maintaining tickets assigned to yourself and the Build Team through our internal ticketing systems, supporting stock control and allocation via internal ERP systems, and keeping the hardware asset register up to date at the point of configuration. Logistics/Warehouse support You will be responsible for organising the collection and delivery of kit, ensuring all stakeholders understand dates, time and location of deliveries. Keep contact with the UK Logistics team regarding on site attendances and any changes to the schedule. Maintain detailed communication regarding the visits with the (3rd party) installers while the UK logistics team handles the booking and scheduling. Log and record deliveries in and out of the Warehouse keep the warehouse organised and tidy. Plan for the following days requirements making sure all elements are ready for delivery or pick up. About You We are looking for someone with technical skills and a love for technology. Someone who takes responsibility for their work, can work autonomously with a methodical and organised approach and thrives in a team-based environment. You need to able to express yourself in Dutch, French and English, both by phone and email, to provide customer support.
