€ Service description: As a member of the Procurement Team your tasks will range from the purchasing strategy definition to the signature of contracts. In this position you will…
- Work closely together with the technical and asset management departments of the company to gain an overview of the long-term requirements,
- Analyse the market and potential supplier worldwide, always with an eye on the current developments on the market and anticipating the requirements of the company,
- Based on the market analysis, work out the medium
- to long-term procurement plan for strategic electrical equipment,
- Define and implement the strategies in coordination with the internal stakeholders,
- Take an active part in the implementation of the sustainable policies of the Group,
- Organize the EU procurement procedure from A (definition of selection and awarding criteria) to Z (negotiation and awarding of the contract), which represents 80% of the job,
- Based on your experience in EU procurement procedures, participate in the optimization of internal processes, methods and tools in procurement,
- Depending on your experience, take responsibility for a complete family of assets working autonomously with a global scope,
- Contribute to building synergies and best practices for both entities. Your organizational skills, initiative and solution-oriented approach allow you to manage the cooperation with stakeholders from different countries ranging from internal departments, located in Berlin and Brussels, to suppliers in the whole world
Requirements:
- You have a Master’s degree in technical or engineering studies or you have an economics background with strong technical focus in form of relevant internships or prior professional experiences,
- You have strong organizational skills, like work independently, take initiative, stress-resilient and think in a problem-solving way,
- You are analytical and result driven.
- You are trilingual: French, Dutch and English (one mother tongue and the other both level B2 to C1),
- Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical context, in public procurement or project management environment,
- Affinity with legal terminology and contract negotiation,
- You master the most common Microsoft Office applications,
- Flexible in working partially from home and at the office
- Willing to travel few times a year to Berlin
- Knowledge of Ariba
- Knowledge of German
