The Role Our client is looking for a Data Management Analyst to support the accuracy, setup, maintenance, and overall integrity of master data. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent, and reliable data across business applications, including ERP systems. The successful candidate will use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and deliver business data requirements. They will play an important role in maintaining data integrity across the organisation, with a strong understanding of master data management, information lifecycle management, data modelling, data governance, and business requirements gathering. This role is based at our client's offices in Kontich & Antwerp, Belgium offices and reports directly to the Global MDM Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management & Analysis
- Execute master data setup, maintenance, and configuration across ERP systems and other business applications.
- Manage master data requests through workflow tools and central mailboxes, ensuring requests are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data management processes, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Review and analyse business requests to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant with established data standards before processing.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve master data discrepancies and data quality issues.
- Provide master data support to business functions across IKO as required.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their data requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Review and continuously improve master data request guidelines, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and data quality.
- Escalate complex or high-impact data issues to the Global MDM Manager when appropriate. Data Quality, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor the overall health and quality of master data and perform regular data cleansing activities.
- Conduct data audits, validation checks, and quality assessments to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse data and processes to identify opportunities for redesign, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and apply this knowledge to support data integrity and management.
- Complete daily and weekly data quality and integrity activities.
- Ensure agreed service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Work independently to investigate and resolve moderately complex data issues, seeking guidance or escalating more complex matters when required.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data governance standards, controls, and processes. Business Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support internal projects requiring data analysis, master data expertise, or data quality support.
- Gather and analyse business requirements for workflow, process improvement, and other initiatives that may impact master data.
- Apply business analysis techniques to identify data requirements, process dependencies, and potential impacts.
- Work closely with Business, IT, MDM, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide analytical insights.
- Support the design and implementation of improved data and workflow processes.
- Build effective working relationships across the organisation and contribute positively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a practical understanding of master data and business processes. Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Master Data Management or a closely related data management role.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems, ideally JDE or a similar platform.
- Experience in data governance, data quality, or a related discipline.
- Experience using data governance or master data management tools is an advantage.
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- University degree or college diploma in IT, Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analysis, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered. Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex data-related topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, and meet agreed deadlines and SLAs.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across Business, IT, MDM, and other functional teams.
